Terms of Service

The short version. Langsat is a subscription service for training and deploying machine-learning models on your own data. You own the datasets you upload and the models we train for you. Predictions are statistical and not guaranteed to be correct — you're responsible for what you do with them. Paid plans auto-renew until you cancel, and fees are non-refundable except where the law says otherwise. These Terms are governed by the law of Thailand. Questions: legal@langsat.ai.

1. Agreement to these Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and Langsat, a service operated as a sole proprietorship based in Thailand ("Langsat", "we", "us"). They cover your use of our website, web application, and API (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you're using the Service for an organization, you confirm you're authorized to accept these Terms on its behalf.

2. Eligibility and your account

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. You agree to provide accurate account information and to keep it up to date. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that happens under your account. Tell us promptly at legal@langsat.ai if you suspect unauthorized use.

3. The Service

Langsat lets you upload datasets (CSV or Parquet files, or extracts from your database), train machine-learning models on them, and deploy a prediction API and dashboards built from those models. What you can do depends on your plan — the limits, quotas, and credit allowances for each plan are described on our pricing page. We're continually improving the Service and may add, change, or remove features over time.

4. Your content and data

You own the datasets you upload, and the models we train for you are yours and are never used for anyone else. You access those models through the Service — the prediction API and dashboards — and they are not provided as a downloadable file. You grant us a limited license to host, process, and use that content only to provide and improve the Service for you, as described in our Privacy Policy. We don't use your uploaded data to train models for anyone else.

You're responsible for your data: you confirm you have the rights and any necessary consents to upload it and to have us process it, and that doing so doesn't break the law or anyone else's rights. You're also responsible for how you use the models and predictions you get from the Service. Business customers can request a Data Processing Agreement by emailing legal@langsat.ai.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • upload or process unlawful, infringing, or harmful content, or data you don't have the right to use;
  • violate anyone's privacy, intellectual-property, or other rights;
  • get around plan limits, quotas, rate limits, or credit allowances, or otherwise overload the Service;
  • reverse-engineer, decompile, scrape, or copy the Service, or resell or sublicense it;
  • upload malware or attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' data;
  • build a competing product or service using the Service or its outputs; or
  • use predictions to make unlawful decisions, or high-stakes decisions about people (such as credit, employment, housing, or health) without appropriate human review and a lawful basis.

We may suspend or limit accounts that breach this section or put the Service or other users at risk.

6. Our intellectual property

The Service itself — including our software, model architectures, designs, and the Langsat name and brand — belongs to us and our licensors. We give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service in line with these Terms. These Terms don't grant you any rights in our intellectual property beyond that.

7. Plans, credits, fees, and billing

The Service is offered on free and paid plans. Paid-plan prices, limits, and monthly credit allowances are described on our pricing page. Credits are consumed when you train models and run predictions; you can buy additional credits where your plan allows.

Paid plans renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or annual) until you cancel, and you authorize us to charge your payment method for each renewal. Payments are handled by Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record, which processes your payment and any applicable taxes. Prices may change; we'll give reasonable notice, and changes apply to your next billing period. If a payment fails, we may suspend paid features or move your account to the free plan.

8. Cancellation, downgrade, and data retention

You can cancel anytime. Your paid features continue until the end of the period you've already paid for, and your plan then ends or moves to the free plan. After a downgrade or cancellation, projects and data that exceed your new plan's limits move through a grace and read-only period and are then deleted, as described on our pricing page — so please export any data you want to keep before then.

Fees are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise. Cancelling stops future renewals; it doesn't refund the current period. Nothing here limits any statutory refund or cancellation rights you may have as a consumer.

9. Feedback

If you send us ideas, suggestions, or feedback about the Service, we may use them freely to improve our products, without any obligation or payment to you.

10. Third-party services

The Service relies on third-party providers (for example our payment processor, our AI provider, and any database you choose to connect), and may link to third-party websites. We don't control those services and aren't responsible for them; your use of them is at your own risk and subject to their own terms.

11. Service availability and changes

We work to keep the Service available and reliable, but we don't promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we don't offer an uptime guarantee unless we've agreed one with you separately. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service, and features marked beta or experimental are provided as-is and may change or be removed.

12. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent the law allows. In particular, machine-learning models produce statistical predictions that are not guaranteed to be accurate, complete, or fit for any particular purpose. You are responsible for evaluating outputs and for any decisions you make using them.

13. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill. Our total liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, losses, and reasonable costs arising out of your data, your use of the Service, or your breach of these Terms or of the law.

15. Termination

You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or to protect the Service or other users. When access ends, your license to use the Service ends, and we may delete your data after a reasonable period (subject to the retention described on our pricing page and in our Privacy Policy). Sections that by their nature should survive termination — such as ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law — will survive.

16. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Thailand. If a dispute arises, let's try to resolve it informally first: email legal@langsat.ai and we'll work in good faith to sort it out within about 30 days. If we can't, the dispute will be subject to the courts of Thailand.

17. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll post the new version here and update the "Last updated" date; for material changes we'll give reasonable notice. If you keep using the Service after an update takes effect, you accept the updated Terms.
